Build Your Practice

Creating Your Message

Say the thing that needs to be said — to one person, in thirty to sixty seconds. Built on the four-step recipe from Going Silent.

How do you want to work?

Step 1

Your practice

The recipe works for any credentialed professional. Tell it where you work so the topics and the language fit your world.

Step 2

Describe your target audience

Name one person. Not "retirees" — one imagined recipient. The book calls her Margaret: a woman in her late sixties, recently widowed, looking at her IRA and wondering how much she can spend. Every sentence gets calibrated to her — and she is the silent enforcer of the clock.

Tip: click the microphone and just talk — describe them the way you'd describe a real person across your desk. Age, situation, and the worry that keeps them up at night.

Step 3

Select your topic

Bring your own subject — or let the tool show you the ten questions your audience is most likely asking right now in the sector you chose.

Step 4

How should it be said?

Same substance, different delivery. Pick the tone that fits how you feel this content needs to be described — and how long you have Margaret's attention.

Named recipient → hook → body → call to action. Every time.

Preliminary Compliance Review — Marketing & Communications Screen

Automated first-pass screen — not a determination of compliance. This report screens the script against common SEC and FINRA communications standards and documents the findings for review. Under FINRA Rule 2210(b)(1)(A), retail communications must be approved by an appropriately qualified registered principal before use. The AI does the first pass. Your compliance reviewer has final authority — this page never has it.

    The Recipe — 1 a named recipient · 2 a hook · 3 a body that delivers substance · 4 a call to action
Thirty seconds is the target. Sixty is the ceiling. "I have made this longer than usual because I have not had time to make it shorter." — Pascal
